The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme

The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme delivers assistance to help reduce emissions from public sector buildings. By 2037, a target of decreasing emissions by 75% has been agreed upon when compared with the benchmark established in 2017. This was set out within the 2021 Net Zero and Heat and Buildings strategies. This scheme can consist of many different applications like enhanced insulation, Solar and Commercial High Temperature Heat Pumps.

Both the Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund and the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme are offered to public sector organisations in England and parts of reserved public services all over the UK.

The Pure High Temperature Heat Pump ranges are the next generation of Heat Pumps, delivering up to 120C flow temperatures, they are perfect for both retrofit and new build purposes. At the time of writing this information (October the public sector decarbonisation scheme 2022), the scheme’s Phase 3b application window is currently open. The advice notes, application form and application portal can be found on the Salix Finance website. Stage 3b will offer up to £635 million of funding across the financial years 2023 to 2025.
